Hello!
My name is Elodi (pronounced Melody without the M) Bodamer. In May, I obtained my Master's in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University, graduating at the top of my class, with distinction — while working full time. In May of 2020, I graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and a minor in General Business.
Prior work experience in beverage, lifestyle, beauty and wellness, law, and public adders, plus joint degrees have equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to perform at the highest levels in any industry.
I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual, focused on growing in the field of public relations and corporate communication. I am a persuasive and outgoing communicator and creative thinker who produces and supports ideas that push boundaries. A people person who loves telling stories and building relationships with others.

ASSOCIATE COMMUNICATIONS & PR MANAGER - GREGORY + VINE PR
As an Associate Communications Manager at Gregory + Vine PR, I wear a variety of hats. I execute PR and pitching responsibilities, such as identifying media targets, managing content for product pitches and press releases, communicating with the media and tracking/reporting press coverage to be presented to clients in weekly and monthly reports. I cultivate influencer relationships and execute social media programming to increase brand awareness and target untapped audiences. Using Muckrack, I build media lists catered toward different clientele — different regions, industries, beats, etc. I coordinate with clients and media contacts around the world to plan activations, events, press trips, and webinars. I have garnered high-profile media placements for clients in Food & Wine, UPROXX, Cosmopolitan, Southern Living, Liquor, and more for clients, including DAOU Family Estates, Bordeaux Wine Region, D.O. Rías Baixas, Jules Taylor Wines, Hammeken Cellars, Girard Winery, Giesen Group, and more.

PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN - NOUVEAU COMMUNICATIONS
As a Public Relations Intern at Nouveau Communications, I learned the ins-and-outs of small agency life, having the chance to work on every aspect of a campaign — from landing a startup their first press placement to getting them featured on The Today Show. Using Muckrack and Cison, I tracked daily client press coverage, clipped press, and organized monthly reports in Excel. I developed weekly and monthly social media content calendars, and created and scheduled all posts across client platforms and natively. I drafted media-facing assets, including press releases, media pitches, and client feature articles, with writing appearing in Bustle, Woman's World, and Athleisure. I conducted research ranging from sourcing venues, identifying influencers, gift concepts, award programs, speaking opportunities and more. I reviewed HARO's on a daily basis to find unique placement opportunities for clients. I conducted media audits to build media lists and find appropriate pitch targets. Clients included Touchland, HipDot, Andrew Fitzsimons, Dr. Dendy Engelman, Shafer Clinic Fifth Avenue, CTZN Cosmetics, Daily Dose Haircare, and more.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS TEMP - ARTHUR W. PAGE SOCIETY
As a Digital Communications Temp, I implemented a campaign to share members' articles submitted but not used in the Page newsletter via social, providing visibility and increasing social media engagements by 95% vs. the previous period. In this role, I also curated social media posts and, using Hootsuite, oversaw the rollout of social media material to ensure timely publishing. Also, I updated website sections with blog posts and edited Page's CommTech Guide copy using WordPress. I was also responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day email marketing activities.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER - ROXO AGENCY
As a Social Media Manager at Roxo, TCU's student-run Advertising & Public Relations firm, I planned, executed, and evaluated social media campaigns for clients, including a COVID-19 awareness campaign that led to 200+ new Instagram followers. I was also responsible for determining the 'brand voice/personality' for each client on their respective social media channels. Also, I evaluated and reported to clients the impacts of these campaigns. I created graphics for social media using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Using Moz, I conducted competitive analyses and keyword audits on clients' websites to increase traffic and rankings in search results. Using WordPress, I edited my clients' website copy using keyword research and text placement strategies.

As a Public Relations & Research Intern, I developed marketing content, including blogs, newsletters, fact sheets, and other promotional materials for the firm's website and social media accounts. I also read and entered into Microsoft Excel 1,000+ news articles and scientific studies on JUUL to be used for case discovery in this role. Also, I drafted documents outlining key details and recommendations to increase public exposure for the firm.

SOCIAL MEDIA & RESEARCH INTERN - FIRESIGN ENLIGHTENED LEGAL MARKETING
As a Social Media & Research Intern, I curated original social media content to increase engagement and channel growth on the firm's LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. I managed scheduling for multiple weekly posts on these social media platforms. I also analyzed the logos of 2,000+ legal technology firms using Microsoft Excel for a marketing research project.

MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL INTERN
As a Mayor and City Council Intern, I assisted with daily administrative operations and duties, including answering telephone calls to field inquiries from individuals, vendors, and others seeking information. I coordinated and attended public forums, events, press conferences, and town hall meetings in this role. I also had the opportunity to draft mayoral proclamations and commendations.
